UHV guarantees all tuition and mandatory fees will be covered by grant assistance and other sources for eligible students with student and parent combined annual gross income of $65,000 or less.
Eligibility:
- First time in college freshman with all necessary documents received by Dec. 1 for Spring or March 15 for Fall.
- Must be a Texas resident.
- Must complete a FAFSA application by January 15 for Fall admission.
- Must complete the UHV scholarship application.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student and degree-seeking.
- Must have a student and parent combined annual gross income of $65,000 or less. (Family need is determined by the FAFSA/TASFA).
- Renewable each year based on continued eligibility.
- Must remain eligible for Federal Aid to include GPA and Satisfactory Academic Progress.
