Future UHV student visits university for first time

<p>Marcus Clayton had never seen the University of Houston-Victoria before he came to freshman orientation for the university’s FIRST 200 on June 23, but once he got on campus, he was pleased.</p>

<p>“I really like it,” he said.</p>
<p>The recent graduate of Northshore High School in Houston plans on staying busy in the fall at UHV by working toward his goal of eventually becoming a mechanical engineer.</p>
<p>“I am looking forward to seeing how it is at college,” he said. “I’ll be focusing on being successful.”</p>
<p>Clayton was involved with both basketball and track at Northshore.</p>
