Victoria perfect location for incoming college freshman

<p>Suzanna Fuentes, a senior at A.C. Jones High School in Beeville, found Victoria to be the perfect place to go to college.</p>

<p>“It’s close to home but far enough away for me to be independent,” said the soon-to-be member of the FIRST 200 at the University of Houston-Victoria.</p>
<p>She added that she’s looking forward to attending a smaller university where she can get more one-on-one attention from her professors.</p>
<p>Fuentes plans on majoring in psychology.</p>
<p>“I just love helping people,” she said. “Someday, I want to open my own business and help teenagers who are the age I am now.”</p>
