<div class="cutline">Members of Spreading Motivation In Lives Everywhere, a University of Houston-Victoria student organization dedicated to working with children who are disabled or at risk, stand for a group photo Saturday during White Cane Day at Riverside Park. The mission of White Cane Day is to educate the world about blindness and how those who are blind or visually impaired can live and work independently. The day also honored the many contributions being made by blind and visually impaired people. This event included activities, food and bounce houses for children.</div>
