A&M-Victoria baseball players read to children at Victoria Public Library

Jose Montanez, an outfielder with the Texas A&M University-Victoria baseball team, reads, "We Planted a Pumpkin," a children's book by Rob Ramsden during a storytime event on Oct. 14 at the Victoria Public Library. Representatives from the baseball team were present for two sessions that morning at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. In between the book readings, children and their guardians sang songs and partook in educational activities. During the 9:30 a.m. session, Connor Kaiser, a utility player on the team, read a book titled, "How to Help a Pumpkin Grow," by Ashley Wolff.
