A&M-Victoria celebrates jaX the Jaguar's birthday

Texas A&M University-Victoria baker Sherry Hurst sings, "Happy Birthday," along with others to jaX the Jaguar on Sept. 2 during the jaX's Birthday Bash event inside Jaguar Hall. JaX, the beloved campus mascot, celebrated his 13th birthday this year with the campus community. The event offered free T-shirts to attendees, along with photo opportunities with jaX and snacks. The event was part of the university's Weeks of Welcome for students as they begin the start of the fall semester.

Texas A&M University-Victoria, located in the heart of the Coastal Bend region since 1973 in Victoria, Texas, offers courses leading to more than 50 academic programs in the colleges of Business, Education & Health Professions, Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, and Natural & Applied Science. A&M-Victoria provides face-to-face classes at its Victoria campus, as well as online classes that students can take from anywhere.
