Students unwind with puppies during midterms

Nearly 40 students gathered on the lawn to greet the pack of puppies provided by Victoria County Animal Services. The initiative was brought on to help students unwind during mid-terms. It is also aimed at students who are far from home and may miss their own pets, offering them a chance to interact with the dogs for comfort and stress relief. The Victoria County Animal Services, responsible for animal control in both the county and the City of Victoria, also provides several options for involvement which includes adoption, short-term and long-term fostering, and the Doggy Day Out programs. Those interested in participating can visit the facility. The animal services team plans to continue their visits during key academic periods such as midterms, holidays and finals.
