Thank you for supporting A&M-Victoria
Dear Victoria Community,
On behalf of myself and the entirety of Texas A&M University-Victoria, I want to thank you for the phenomenal support you have provided us during the transition from the University of Houston-Victoria. You have been beside us every step of the way, from all the yard signs and banners, to painting the town red, to developing new flavors of ice cream and pizza. You have clearly shown that we want A&M-Victoria to be our university and that you will do everything possible to help make that happen. You have instilled an excitement rarely seen, and that has made me proud, and very humbled, to serve you and the university.
Jag Fest was a wonderful celebration of what we have already accomplished together. We can’t thank all of you enough for joining us in celebrating our university. We would need pages to list all the individuals and businesses and governments that made it possible. During the opening ceremony, Texas A&M Chancellor Glenn Hegar said that his goal is to see A&M-Victoria prosper and grow, and the Texas A&M System will do everything it can to support us. This is an exciting and inspiring declaration. The truth is that we – the university and the community – are better together. We will celebrate OUR university together! We will wear our red pants and rock OUR red together!
Thank you to Victoria and all our friends in the region. We still have much to do, and I have no doubt that we will do it together!

Texas A&M University-Victoria, located in the heart of the Coastal Bend region since 1973 in Victoria, Texas, offers courses leading to more than 50 academic programs in the colleges of Business, Education & Health Professions, Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, and Natural & Applied Science. A&M-Victoria provides face-to-face classes at its Victoria campus, as well as online classes that students can take from anywhere.
