A&M-Victoria students learn about life of MLK Jr.

The booth, staffed by volunteers, worked to educate those on campus on the life of Martin Luther King Jr. through hands-on engagement by offering handcrafted bracelets, decorated balloons and buttons alongside informational cards about Dr. King's life and legacy. The event was part of the university's Weeks of Welcome celebration.

Texas A&M University-Victoria, located in the heart of the Coastal Bend region since 1973 in Victoria, Texas, offers courses leading to more than 50 academic programs in the colleges of Business, Education & Health Professions, Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, and Natural & Applied Science.
