A&M-Victoria to hold commencement ceremonies for spring graduates
Texas A&M University-Victoria is poised to hold a series of commencement ceremonies to celebrate the spring 2026 graduating class.
The university will host three commencement ceremonies on May 16 at Faith Family Church, 2002 E. Mockingbird Lane.
"Graduation is a reminder that dreams are built through dedication and perseverance," said A&M-Victoria President Christian Hardigree. "As we prepare to celebrate commencement, we recognize not only the accomplishments of our Jaguars, but also the limitless potential they carry into the world. I am incredibly proud of this class and can't wait to see the difference they will make in the years ahead."
The first ceremony will be at 9 a.m. to recognize students from the College of Education & Health Professions and the College of Natural & Applied Science. The second ceremony will start at noon to celebrate students from the College of Business. The third ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. for students in the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. Graduates and their guests are encouraged to arrive at Faith Family Church one hour before their scheduled ceremonies. Each ceremony will run approximately 1½ to 2 hours long. All commencement ceremonies will be live streamed on the university’s YouTube channel and will go live a few minutes before the start of each ceremony.
Each graduate is allowed to have up to 10 guests. Children two years of age or younger will not be counted as one of the guests, and they must sit on the lap of a parent.
Graduates are strongly encouraged to decorate their caps if they wish.
