Blind box event offers students midterm boost
Communications freshman Addison Tompkins, left, and kinesiology freshman Jordyn Maldonado, right, hold up their boxes during the Wellness Blind Boxes event on Monday, Oct. 26, at Texas A&M University-Victoria. Hosted by the Counseling Center, the event offered students a small dose of surprise and encouragement through a blind box tabling, inspired by the popular blind box trend. Each box contains an assortment of fidget items, such as fidget sand, rings, clickers or squishies, along with a sticker and an inspirational quote. With the combination of hands-on fidget items and encouraging messages, the event aimed to give students a moment of whimsy and support during the last stretch of the academic term.
