Five students inducted into honor society
Newly inducted members of Nu Gamma Nu, Texas A&M University-Victoria's chapter of the Beta Beta Beta national biology honor society, pose for a photo during an induction ceremony on April 15 inside University Commons. Undergraduate students were eligible for the honor society once they finished the second semester of their sophomore year, completed at least three semester-long biological science courses with a B average in those courses, maintained an overall B average and were in good academic standing. The organization also welcomed new officers: Robert Bari as president, Dillion Besancon as vice-president, Layla Samayoa as secretary. Additionally, Ashley Mutchler, a lecturer in the College of Natural & Applied Science, is the organization's newest sponsor.
