Green Cow Creamery gives student ambassadors tasty bonding experience
The Enrollment Management Welcome Center recently treated its student ambassadors to a creative team bonding outing at The Green Cow Creamery, a local ice cream shop in Victoria. For some in the group, it was their first time visiting the popular local spot. They were even more surprised when they learned they would not only enjoy ice cream, but had the opportunity to create their own flavor from scratch. Guided by the shop's owner, the group of student ambassadors learned about the history of ice cream, the origins of different flavors and even a bit of local history connected to the building where The Green Cow Creamery sits. Their efforts culminated in a rich and indulgent custom flavor named "College Ready," a hazelnut-based ice cream flavor layered with Biscoff cookie butter, salted caramel, brownie pieces and bits of Ferrero Rocher.
