Jaguar Kickoff event launches Weeks of Welcome celebration
A group of students mingle with each other during the Jaguar Kickoff event on Aug. 24 inside University Commons at Texas A&M University-Victoria. Jaguar Kickoff served as the big official start to the Weeks of Welcome celebration to welcome students back on campus with two weeks filled with fun activities. Throughout the first two weeks of events, students have the chance to make friends, connections and school spirit. During the kickoff event, students were treated to free hotdogs, drinks and more. Additionally, board games and giant yard games and karaoke were available for students to enjoy while connecting with their peers.
Texas A&M University-Victoria, located in the heart of the Coastal Bend region since 1973 in Victoria, Texas, offers courses leading to more than 50 academic programs in the colleges of Business, Education & Health Professions, Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, and Natural & Applied Science. A&M-Victoria provides face-to-face classes at its Victoria campus, as well as online classes that students can take from anywhere.
