Founded in 1973 as a small academic center, the institution has steadily grown—first into a two-year upper-level university, and ultimately into the thriving four-year destination campus now known as Texas A&M University-Victoria. This evolution reflects decades of strategic development and a deepening commitment to accessible, high-quality education in the region. From the beginning, the Division of Administration and Finance has supported the university in both stewardship and innovative leadership roles, committed to providing the best possible services to the students, faculty and staff of the institution.
