Financial Aid Disbursement Update

Financial aid disbursements for the Fall 2026 semester will begin August 24, 2026.

Due to new federal financial aid requirements under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OB3), students who have requested federal student loans and are enrolled less than full-time may experience a delay in loan disbursement. Before loans can be disbursed, our office must review each student’s enrollment and manually adjust loan amounts based on the number of credit hours in which the student is enrolled.

Full-time enrollment is:

Undergraduate students: 12 or more credit hours
Graduate students: 9 or more credit hours

Because these reviews must be completed individually, we appreciate your patience as we work to process affected students as quickly as possible.

Students should also be aware that dropping below full-time enrollment after receiving a loan disbursement may affect future loan disbursements. Loan amounts may need to be reduced if you are not scheduled to complete at least 24 undergraduate credit hours or 18 graduate credit hours during the academic year.
