Scholarships are available for students transferring to Texas A&M University-Victoria. Only one scholarship application is needed to be considered for any institutional scholarships.

The Keep on Roaring Scholarship supports returning students continuing their education.

Our promise to you: eligible students with family incomes of $65,000 or less will have all tuition and mandatory fees covered through grants and other sources.

Presidential Scholarship

The Presidential Scholarship awards up to ten $5,000 merit-based scholarships annually to entering freshmen. Scholarships are renewable for four years if the criteria are met.

Awarded to outstanding Juniors with the highest level of achievement in each academic division: Arts & Sciences, Business Administration, and Education.

Priority Deadlines

Meeting the priority deadline ensures your file is reviewed as quickly as possible for upcoming semesters. Applications are processed on a first-completed, first-awarded basis. Students should check student the Financial Aid section of Self Service and their student email regularly for status updates.

Fall - March 15

How to Accept A Scholarship Award

Award notices are sent to your A&M-Victoria email account. You will need to log into myUHV to accept or decline your financial aid awards.

Click on the Financial Aid tile.
Click on Accept/Decline Awards.
Read the Financial Aid Student Disclosure and then click OK.
Select the Aid Year you wish to view.
Check the Accept or Decline box for each award and then click SUBMIT.
Read the Student Rights and Responsibilities and then click YES if you acknowledge your acceptance.

Required documentation for your file should be completed by the priority deadline to ensure award determination by the appropriate term. Applications completed after the dates listed below will be processed on a "first completed, first awarded" basis. If the priority deadline is not met, other arrangements must be made for the payment of your initial fees. To view payment options offered visit Student Billing, select payment options, then select Payment Plans.
