Computer Labs
Information Technology provides academic and administrative support for computer users of Texas A&M University-Victoria, including access to over 200 PC's on our local-area network. Information Technology staff are located in Suite 207 and Suite 203 of the University Center in Victoria. There are 6 computer labs located on the second floor of the Center Building and 11 computer labs throughout Jaguar Village, and wireless internet access is available throughout all A&M-Victoria buildings.
The computer equipment described in this section is available for academic purposes to all students currently enrolled at A&M-Victoria. Computers are readily available to all students during regular lab hours. For assistance using these labs, please see Help Desk Personnel in Victoria UC 203. Students should refer to the Computer Usage Policy in the University Policies section of this handbook for further information.
To provide an atmosphere conducive to academic work and studying, rooms are designated as “Quiet” or “Moderate Discussion” areas. In addition, the use of cell phones is not permitted in the computer labs.
All computers within the computer lab are hard-wired into the network, and Wi-Fi is also provided within the computer labs to connect personal devices.
Student email accounts at A&M-Victoria are automatically created when students apply to the university. Students do not have to complete an account application form. A&M-Victoria will communicate officially with all students by means of the student email accounts.
Printing Resources
Four high-speed laser printers to support all UC labs with a 500 pages per student per semester allocation. Color printing and printing on special forms are available on request at the Help Desk, room UC-203..

The schedules are estimated times of operations and may vary from semester to semester. A current schedule can be located on the A&M-Victoria online calendar.
Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
