Student Government Association Mission

The mission of the Student Government Association is to serve the collective interests of the student body at the Texas A&M University-Victoria by promoting communication between students and the A&M University-Victoria Administration and providing input on university policy. The Student Government Association is a nonprofit, elected, governing body whose purpose is to promote communication between constituents at A&M University-Victoria to enhance the educational environment and to address specific needs of students to provide a voice to and for the student body with respect to academic, cultural, and social matters.

Meetings

Student Government Association meetings are held every other Wednesday in person in the University Commons, Multi-Purpose Room and virtually on Microsoft Teams. Meetings start at 7 p.m. and are open to the entire A&M University-Victoria community. Microsoft Teams links will be sent out during the week of the meeting. We encourage anyone who is interested to attend. If there is an appropriate issue or topic you would like to bring up before the SGA meeting please email us.
