College Access Loans
If you’re a Texas resident and need extra funding after federal aid, the College Access Loan (CAL) could be a smart option. CAL loans are state-based, have no origination fees, and usually offer lower interest rates than many private loans.
Current Interest Rate: Fixed 5.35% for loans disbursed between September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2025.
