Welcome to the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) at Texas A&M University. The purpose of the CTLE is to help faculty and staff meet students where they are to get them to where they want to be. To accomplish this goal, we provide faculty and staff with the pedagogical support needed to expand the use of high-impact teaching and learning practices that yield higher levels of retention, persistence, and achievement of institutional/program learning outcomes. Guided by the TAMU System values of Loyalty, Integrity, Excellence, Leadership, Selfless Service, and Respect, we are committed to creating and implementing the highest standards of instructional hospitality. CTLE Mission
- Create unified initiatives for faculty, staff, students, and community members that help Texas A&M University-Victoria grow its core values of academic excellence, continuous improvement, free expression, and ethics
- Promote teaching and learning practices that are student-centered, engaging, and impactful in the real world.
- Provide training and development opportunities via innovative conferences, activities, and collaborations.
- Facilitate partnerships with community members and local industry professionals that support co-curricular, experiential, and service-learning opportunities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and recognition of excellence in teaching, learning, and professional development.

BRIDGE to Brilliance Seminars
At A&M-Victoria, we are dedicated to helping our students take ownership of their learning and become self-sustaining. Our faculty, staff, and community members are constantly working together to find new ways to promote personal responsibility and resilience. The purpose of BRIDGE to Brilliance is to showcase that knowledge through the voices of accomplished local professionals who will help all attendees Build Resiliency to Inspire, Develop and Grow Entrepreneurship.
