Fall 2025 Semester Account Info
For this Fall 2025 semester, you will continue to login with your current UHV student ID and password to access University resources both UHV and A&M-Victoria. Employees will use their current UHV credentials.
Branding and logo changes will be rolling out in stages across our many university web sites, login pages, and other online resources.
We understand that these changes will appear confusing as websites, URLs, and branding might contain both UHV and A&M-Victoria (TAMUV) on the same page.
When in doubt login with your UHV student ID and password for now.

New Password Policy
Our current password policy will change on May 27th.
For current Students and Employees, when your current password expires on or after this day, this new password policy will need to be followed.
The new password policy will consist of passphrases.
- Passphrases must be at least 16 characters long
- While not required, it is recommended to use capitalized and lower case letters, special characters, and numbers
Benefits to Passphrases
- Easier to remember
- Passphrases will not expire unless your account is compromised
- Forced resets are required if there is an unrequested Duo push or unauthorized activity on your account
Tips for Making Passphrases
Make it personal! Consider using a combination of personal words or phrases. Make it something unique to your thoughts.
- Example: Jax loves the color red and soccer. He might come up with KickRedSoccerBallsGoal.
- He could strengthen this password by adding numbers and special characters to be something like: K1ck15RedS0ccerB@llsGoal!
You can also get creative with the spelling of words.
Example: instead of using 'my', you can spell it meye (m+eye)
- 1SEVENteyegars!OMeye!
- Moor!P3pp3rs0Npeeza
Not advised for passphrases:
- Personal information such as phone numbers, address, birthday, your pet's name
- Popular phrases or sentences
