There will be multiple in-person ROAR First-Year Orientation, Overnight sessions are only held in the summer. For students who will be attending classes on campus, and in their first year of college.

ROAR Orientation is your first big step into life at A&M-Victoria. It’s all about starting strong, meeting new people, and finding out everything our campus has to offer. From cool resources to student opportunities, we’ll make sure you’re ready to crush your first day of class with confidence.
At ROAR, you’ll be guided by Orientation Leaders, faculty, and staff who’ve been where you are and know how to help you succeed. Plus, it’s required for all new Jaguars, so don’t miss it.
Make sure you register ahead of time and pay any fees that apply. If you’re joining us virtually, you’ll need solid internet and tech access so you don’t miss a thing.

ROAR Virtual Orientation Sessions
ROAR Virtual Orientation is an online opportunity for individuals to begin to express their roar. It is an event specifically designed for new Jaguars who want to discover everything our institution has to offer. At ROAR Virtual Orientation, students will learn about campus resources and opportunities and be prepared to acclimate and rise to success. This session will be held live online. Transfer students and 100% Online students can attend the ROAR Virtual Orientation.
