You'll learn everything from starting a company to managing employees and handling day-to-day operations. You'll learn from real entrepreneurs and develop your own business plan. The A&M-Victoria Small Business Development Center can also help you connect with other startups.

Interested in a minor in Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, or others from different academic colleges? Satisfy at least 15 hours of required electives by ding one on!
Required electives (as needed to fulfill 120 semester credit hours). Must be academic credit. Typically, up to 21 credit hours needed.
The College of Business encourages students to consider completion of BUSI 4390 Field Studies/Internship as one of their electives.
Note: Students who are admitted to as Freshmen (30 or fewer college hours completed) must complete the applicable UNIV University Seminar course. This course is counted as an elective on the degree plan.
In my entrepreneurship classes, I encourage my students not only to learn about the entrepreneurship process but also to come up with novel ideas to start their businesses. As a certified business start-up mentor, I help students to get connected to entrepreneurship programs, accelerators, angel investors, and other resources to pursue their entrepreneurial goals.
