Keep on Roarin’ Auto-Admit Graduate Program
We are thrilled to announce a new admissions program for our top-performing students who have graduated from Texas A&M University-Victoria with a bachelor's or master's degree. The Keep on Roarin’ (KOR) program offers automatic admission into a selection of master’s programs at UHV.
How It Works
The admission process is simple. To be considered, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or higher from A&M-Victoria. Please note that some participating master’s programs may have additional eligibility criteria or different GPA requirements.

- Complete your A&M-Victoria undergraduate degree (meeting KOR eligibility) or if you're seeking to complete a second master's degree and meet the general qualification, you can still qualify!
- Select a participating degree program
- Submit graduate application via ApplyTexas ($25 application fee waived)
- Before submitting your application, select Check/Money Order option for your application to be reviewed
- Meet with your Graduate Advisor to enroll in courses
- Apply for scholarships (limited availability)
College of Education & Health Professions Admission Criteria
- 2.5 GPA or above – Full admission
- 2.0 - 2.5 GPA – Conditional admission (must complete 6 credit hours, maintaining a 3.0 GPA with grades of B or better)
Master’s Programs:
Administration and Supervision, MEd
- Non-Public Administration
- Organizational Leadership
Adult and Higher Education, MEd (all programs)
Curriculum and Instruction, MEd
- Literacy Studies (no certification)
- Elementary Mathematics Education (no certification)
- Elementary Science (no certification)
- Elementary Science/Math Education (no certification)
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
College of Business Programs Admission Criteria
- 3.0 GPA or above – Full admission
- 2.5 GPA or above – Conditional admission (must complete 9 hours with a grade of B or better in each course)
Master’s Programs:
College of Natural & Applied Sciences Programs Admission Criteria
- 2.75 GPA or above – Full admission
- 2.5 GPA or above – Conditional admission (must complete 9 hours with a grade of B or better in each course)
Master’s Programs:
College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences Programs Admission Criteria
- 2.75 GPA or above – Full admission
- 2.5 GPA or above – Conditional admission (must complete 9 hours with a grade of B or better in each course)
